Welcome to Wesley Cottages in the Far West of Cornwall
Nanquidno is an ancient place. On the edge of the valley lie the
remains of an Iron Age village, still visible after 2,000 years. The
valley is a patchwork of stone-hedged fields. Follow the stream past
an old watermill, and you are at the sea and coast path.
Inland there are wild moors to explore, scattered with prehistoric
sites, old tin mines and wooded valleys. There is interest to be found
all year round as the moods of the sea and hills change with the seasons.
Nowhere in West Penwith are you far from the sea. There are sparkling
sandy beaches, granite moors, rugged cliffs and fishing coves. Beautiful
Nanquidno Valley meets the sea half way between St. Just and Sennen
Cove.
